CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION

CTE Students Gain Life Skills

Battle Ground Public Schools have a statewide reputation for great career and technical course offerings. In addition to learning technical skills, students can learn employability and leadership skills in all program areas. Many of our programs have articulation agreements with local community colleges, allowing students to receive college credit for some of the classes they have taken in high school. A hallmark of the Career and Technical Education program is CASEE – the Center for Agriculture, Science and Environmental Education in Brush Prairie. Students also can apply to attend the Cascadia Technical Academy, a cooperative program for high school students who attend school districts in southwest Washington.
